The Institute is approved and affiliated to State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) by Government of Tamil Nadu. It functions under the control of the Director of Employment and Training. Training is imparted in Mechanic-AC & Refrigeration, Welding Technician, Electrical Technician each for a duration of one year with a practical in-plant training for two months in leading industrial establishments.

Training is imparted in Food Production, Food and Beverage Service each having duration of one year with a practical in-plant training for two months in leading Hotel Industries. The trained and passed candidates are placed in suitable jobs through the conduct of Campus Interviews and selection.
